CITTÀ DI CASTELLO PLANT (PERUGIA)
In May 2016, after a major restoration and reorganization, the Prada Group reopened Città di Castello facility, a full-cycle plant for the design and production of Men’s shirts.
Acquired in 2001, after a long supply and collaboration arrangement, this high-quality facility was developed, increasing made-to-measure productivity and expanded to an area of over 2,000 square meters.
AREZZO PLANT
The historic full-cycle plant that incorporates all stages of belts and small leather goods production process, founded by Patrizio Bertelli at the start of his business career, has undergone a thorough restructuring of its logistics, technology, and production, ended in September 2016. The project involved all areas of the plant, which occupies 1,600 square meters.
In 2016, the Prada Group becomes the majority shareholder of the Figline Valdarno plant, dedicated to the production of Men’s and Women’s small leather goods.
In addition to these projects, in the same year the Prada Group restructured a warehouse at Arezzo, completed the restoration of the Scandicci plant, and launched an ambitious project to reorganize its logistics, with the creation of the New Logistics Hub of Levanella (Arezzo), designed by architect Guido Canali.
